That’s why we chose the name Ek Oh Ung Kaar—rooted in Sanskrit, meaning “We Are All One.” This belief guides everything we do. True unity isn’t just about standing together—it’s about taking meaningful action.

This commitment drives our work beyond immediate relief. Real impact isn’t just about providing aid—it’s about dismantling barriers and building a just, sustainable future for all. Poverty, food insecurity, injustice, and climate change are deeply connected, and addressing them requires more than temporary solutions.

As a federally registered non-profit, we have the freedom to serve and advocate. With 30 volunteer teams across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley, we provide meals, hampers, and rescued food to those in need—while keeping perfectly good food out of landfills and reducing environmental waste.
